INTERNATIONAL Criminal court moot 2018
We are currently taking individual applications for the International Criminal Court Moot Competition which will be held on 27 May - 1 June 2018 at The Hague, Netherlands.
This tournament is hosted by the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies and involves collaboration with judges from international courts and tribunals, professors of international criminal law and others. It is designed to simulate the International Criminal Court (ICC) proceedings. The final round will even be held in an actual ICC courtroom.
The competition will take the form of a moot concerning issues of substantive and procedural international criminal law and will involve a 6 day educational and social program. This is a valuable opportunity for the best law students worldwide to compete and develop their skills and knowledge of international criminal law.
Macquarie University would like to send one team of 5 members, each with the following roles:
- Speaker 1
- Speaker 2
- Speaker 3
- Researcher 1
- Researcher 2
Applicants can be from any year of law however strong mooting experience will be essential for selection. If you are graduating in April 2018, you are not eligible to participate. You must be an enrolled student at the time of the competition in May/June.
Registrations are currently open and closes 17 October 7pm.
