Social Justice

The Social Justice portfolio exists to connect Macquarie Law students with social justice issues affecting the legal industry, organisations which act to effect change and provide support, and society at large. The team, consisting of the Director (Social Justice), a Social Justice Advocacy Officer and a Community Outreach Officer, are responsible for promoting volunteering opportunities, sharing recent social justice news, running discussion groups, speaker nights and the annual social justice trivia night.

For those interested in joining the Social Justice Advocacy Subcommittee, applications are now open until 6 March 2017. As a subcommittee member, you will help organise and run on-campus events throughout the year. Apply here.
